Academic Reflection on the Economy of Francesco

The event brings together academics, researchers, diocesan commissions, EoF Indonesia hub members, and global EoF representation to reflect on the Economy of Francesco and its relevance for Indonesia.

The closed FGD with Universitas Katolik Parahyangan will explore EoF’s philosophical foundations, its connection with Indonesian social and economic realities, and possible pathways for academic curriculum development and institutional collaboration.

The Diocese Study Day and Panel Discussion will offer a shared formation space for the Diocese of Bandung, connecting Magnifica Humanitas, local culture, theology, technology, environment, inequality, and interfaith socio-economic initiatives.

For diocesan commissions, the event provides practical tools for building fraternity, strengthening public engagement, empowering communities, and reading today’s challenges as part of the Church’s pastoral mission.
