The Economy of Francesco: A New Economic Model

This presentation introduces the international initiative The Economy of Francesco (EoF), launched by Pope Francis as a call to build a new economy that is more just, supportive, and sustainable. The workshop will explore the twelve thematic “villages” that structure EoF’s reflections and actions in key areas such as finance, labour, the environment, and human dignity. It will also present the global compact signed by young economists, entrepreneurs, change-makers, students, and workers who are committed to transforming the current economic model. In addition, ongoing national and international activities will be highlighted, along with the next steps of this worldwide mobilization.
