EoF Global Event 2025 in ROME

REGISTRATION

How can I access the program, updates and participants area of the 2025 event?

You can visit the EoF Global Event page by clicking HERE.

I don’t have the password to access the reserved area to register for the event. What should I do?

You need to create a password:
1- Scroll down to the end of the participant’s area homepage:
2- Click on LOGIN
3- Select “Lost your password”
4- You will go to the reset password area. Once there, enter your e-mail valid and current address (preferably the one you will use to register for the event)
5- You will receive a link to create a NEW password via email
Always remember to check your SPAM folder.

We are a group: how can we register? Are there special rates?

A reduced rate may be available for organized groups (from the same institution or organization) with more than 10 members. Please contact us at community@francescoeconomy.org before registering.

Each group member must register individually (as we need complete details for each participant) and select bank transfer as the payment method. The bank transfer should be a single payment covering the entire group. Afterward, you will need to confirm by sending a copy of the payment receipt along with the full list of all group participants (including their order numbers) to: backoffice@francescoeconomy.org and community@francescoeconomy.org.

Can I update my information once my order is completed (names, receipt details, payment choice)?

Unfortunately NOT. We should cancel the order and make a new one. So please make sure all your data is correct while completing your order, to avoid delays or any other technical trouble, thanks for your kind cooperation for a smooth process.

I attended the EoF 2022 event and I still have the password — can I use it?

Of course, if you participated in the EoF 2022 event in Assisi, you may use the same password.

I would need an invoice as proof of expense — how can I request one?

The Foundation The Economy of Francesco is not able to issue an invoice; however, upon request, it can provide a receipt with specific details, in addition to the one automatically generated by the registration and payment system. To request this, please contact: community@francescoeconomy.org

LOGISTIC

Can I attend the event with my family?

Yes, of course. Adult family members will need to register using the registration form. Then, please write to: community@francescoeconomy.org to add the minors. If you would like to know the costs for children, please also write to: community@francescoeconomy.org.

Will organized transportation be provided between the airport or train station and the event venue on November 27, 28, and 30 (arrival and departure days)?

No, transportation to and from the event venue must be arranged and covered by the participant. You can find the necessary information HERE.

I will need accommodation for the night of November 30. What should I do?

Please write to community@francescoeconomy.org and we will put you in touch with the organization member who can check the availability of the accommodation for the night of November 30.

Where will the event take place?

The event will be held at the Centro Mariapoli Internazionale (CMI) in Castel Gandolfo (Rome).
Participants who registered with the FULL EVENT PASSES (the options that includes accommodation, meals, and participation in all activities throughout the 3-day event) will stay in accommodations near the CMI. Transportation between accommodation sites and the event location during the event will be arranged and guaranteed by the organization.

GRANTS

How can I apply for a grant?

Go to this page: https://francescoeconomy.org/participation-grants/ , carefully read all the instructions, and submit your application.

What kind of costs does the grant cover?
  • Type A – Participation Grant: Provides a contribution to cover the participation fee ONLY, including registration at the 3 days event, accommodation, and meals. If you are selected as a participation grant recipient, you will receive a GRANT CODE to enter during the registration process.
  • Type B – Travel Grant: Covers partially the cost of travel. Reimbursement will be made via bank transfer after the event, upon submission of valid travel receipts

It is not possible to apply for both participation grant types.

When will we be notified about the outcome of our grant request?

Successful applicants will be notified via email by July 6, 2025 and will receive detailed information regarding their grant.

VISA AND INVITATION LETTERS

How to get my VISA?

People from certain countries need a Visa to come to Italy.
You can check here: http://vistoperitalia.esteri.it/home/en and if you need a LETTER OF INVITATION, please read carefully the instructions provided in the VISA INFORMATION document.

Check with the Italian Consulate in your country if you need to apply for a VISA. You can check directly on the Consulate official website.
If you need a visa, you will have to apply for a TOURIST VISA (90 days).
Check your passport validity.
Check every document needed by the ITALIAN CONSULATE in your country (every consulate in different country ask different documentation). You can check directly on the Consulate official website. Start as soon as possible!

I don’t need a VISA, but an invitation letter for other purposes. How to get it?

Send an email asking for it, with a copy of your passport to staff@francescoeconomy.org and we’ll send you a simple invitation letter for the event.

What are EOF Hubs?

EoF Hubs are local groups of people who bring the Economy of Francesco to life in their territories. Born from the global EoF experience — especially following the 2020 event — these communities gather people, who come together to reflect, act, and experiment with new ways of thinking and doing economy locally.

Can you send me the list of EoF community members in my country?

Because of privacy issues, the EoF staff cannot share the list of community members. But you can see if there is an active EoF Hub in your country or region and contact them directly. See here: https://francescoeconomy.org/eof_hubs/

I am interested in joining a hub. What should I do?

On the official website you can find a dedicated page HERE. To participate, you just need to contact your nearest HUB reference. There is no HUB in your country? If you would like to create one, please write to: staff@francescoeconomy.org.
